Today is National Underwear Day!

National Underwear Day was created to celebrate an everyday essential, but Cocotree Kids uses it as a day to shine a light on the thousands of children who lack access to clean, new underwear.

Children in need often resort to rewearing soiled underwear, worn out hand-me-downs that don’t fit, or most often—nothing at all. The benefits of new underwear for an underserved child go further than simply hygiene; if their basic needs are not met, which includes having clean underwear, they cannot experience positive growth and development.
